The members of the CAVFD send their deepest condolences to our brothers from the PGPD as they mourn the loss of Officer Brennan Rabain, who was killed in the line of duty early yesterday morning while attempting to make a traffic stop.
From the Prince George's County Police Department:
"Let us pause to remember our fallen hero, Police Officer Brennan Rabain. Officer Rabain lost his life this morning during an accident as he attempted to make a traffic stop. Officer Rabain was 26 years old, assigned to the District V (Clinton) station and had been on the department for less than two years before making the ultimate sacrifice. The citizens of Prince George's County, members of our police department and Officer Rabain's family are grieving. Chief Mark Magaw has authorized our officers to wear mourning bands, which is the traditional way for law enforcement officers to publicly mourn the death of a fellow officer. We thank the community for the outpouring of sympathy and support."
