It is with deep regret that the Chillum Adelphi Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Past President and current Vice President Charles “Jim” Larkin.
Jim joined the Chillum Adelphi Volunteer Fire Department on January 24, 1961 and served in many different positions that included Lieutenant, Captain, Vice President and President. He had been serving the department as the Vice President since 1996. Jim was a retired school teacher for Prince George’s County.
Jim was a strong presence within the department and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
