At around 843am the Box Alarm was struck for 1814 Metzerott Rd for a reported building fire. E-342 responded and arrived on the scene with smoke showing. After further investigation the crew found a kitchen fire in a second floor apartment. The crew was able to put a quick knock on the fire. The engine worked on the scene for about 2 hours.
