Cranker Bob was recently the guest of honor at a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the Robert Ford Center for Cyber-Shanking located at Co.34. This facility is a welcome addition to the firehouse for live-in members and others. Four desktop computers and 12 ports for privately owned computers are linked together to our high speed internet connection. That means that 16 people can surf the web download music or do homework at once. The project is the result of many hours of hard work by Vance Engineering and their subcontractors Spence Specialized Projects. Together these firms brought the RFCCS to 34 way over budget and six months later than planned. Next they will be building oil pipelines in Iraq . When asked about the new computer center Bob said Blow a dead bear. Randy Shank refused to comment publicly on the new facility however he privately offered to speak to the membership about the ins and outs of Cyberspace.
