Around 1am on Thursday morning, Truck 34 was called mutual aid into Montgomery County for the reported fire in a restaurant. Engine 701 (Silver Spring) had heavy fire showing the moment they turned out of the firehouse and advised that they were on scene scene with extension to the second floor. Truck 34 arrived shortly thereafter with 7 members, and with fire on both floors, they were tasked with vertical ventilation by Command. The roof was opened as the main body of fire was extinguished, and the fire did not spread to the attached buildings on either side.
