Just as breakfast was about to get rolling, the Bomberos heard the box dispatched for Cherrywood Terrace for the apartment fire with people trapped. Knowing that the "Empirian Village" (better known as Springhill Lake) has historically had many multiple alarm fires over the years, the crew at 34 switched on the radio just in time to hear Truck 14 go on scene with heavy fire and request a second alarm. This brought Truck 34 to the scene as the 1st truck for the additional alarm.

After arriving into the scene, the interior team deployed multiple ground ladders before being assigned to the top floor of the exposure building to open up, while the exterior team threw additional ladders and ventilated on side charlie and assisted Truck 14 with extensive overhaul on the roof. Three hours and 221 feet of ground ladders later, the Bomberos returned to the park for a nice noontime breakfast.
