Well, another year is in the books, and it was our busiest year to date. In 2009, the Bomberos de Langley Park ran 7157 calls for service between our 2 engines, ladder truck, and ambulance. The sharp increase has been primarily attributed to the closing of nearby Company 44. Even though this is a big change, it is good to see that some things remain constant: 34 ran the last box alarm of 2009 and the first box alarm of 2010. Both were false calls. On 15th Avenue.
